This series was a compilation of prize winning and other wise remarkable domestic poultry.  The work was intended as a guide for those aspiring to groom their own birds for show.  Notations below each image name the birds' owners and describe the prizes awarded.  The recent trend for individuals raising backyard chickens has sparked new interest in Casell's chicken prints which make a perfect decoration for kitchen or dining area.
